At Armor Shield Companies, our goal is to provide all our customers with outstanding service for every roofing service. We were founded in 2001 by Scott Tearman, who has over 20 years experience in the roofing business.

Armor Shield Companies was founded with the goal of giving customers in Connecticut the high-quality roofing services they deserve. We are constantly participating in new training to improve our skills and techniques to best serve our customers. From the moment you call Armor Shield Companies, you will find our staff to be courteous and respectful, and we will go the extra mile to make you a very satisfied customer.

About the Owner

Scott Tearman has been involved in the building industry for over 20 years, working with both residential and commercial properties. He is trained and certified in many areas of home improvement, including building design, roof inspection, insurance claims. Scott is also a licensed insurance producer in Connecticut.

Scott founded Armor Shield Companies in 2001 to provide the best roofing solutions and customer service available. Scott loves the opportunity to meet new people and help them find the best solution for their home. He strives to provide high-quality services and product and always meet customer expectations.

In his free time, Scott enjoys spending time with his family and golfing. He is also a member of several local organizations and sponsors local charities and sporting events.

Community Involvement

Scott is part of the Waterbury Regional Chamber of Commerce, ELKs Club, a former member of the Lions Club, demonstrating his commitment to bettering the local business environment.

Armor Shield Companies is proud to support our community, and we have provided sponsorship’s for animal rescue, golf tournaments, and local baseball, including both Little League and Babe Ruth. Our customers are important to us, and we are happy to support local activities that are important to them.
